Skincare Products I'm Loving (Getting Rid of Eczema)

Ever since I can remember, I have had very sensitive skin. Always dry patches on my face and my arms. About four years ago, I decided to see a dermatologists and she explained to me that it was eczema, which is caused by atopic dermatitis. Although I suffered from the mild type of eczema, it was very uncomfortable. I could barely wear makeup because you could easily notice the dry patches, and it does not look pretty. My dermatologist prescribed a topical gel named Desonate, which is used to treat skin conditions. The down side of this treatment? the gel contains steroids. I used it for about 3 months, and it helped but didn't get rid of eczema completely. I decided to stop using it and started trying natural products for a while. I tried Burt's Bees skin care for Sensitive skin, Neutrogena, and Cetaphil over the course of about a year, but nothing seemed to help.

A few years ago I came across the Aveeno Ultra-calming foam cleanser and the Aveeno Eczema therapy moisturizing cream and it helped control the eczema for the most part. But I was still not 100% happy with how my skin looked and felt, and the older I get (even though I'm only 25) I can feel that my skin needed a proper skincare routine.

About two months ago, I noticed that one of my favorite bloggers, Lauren (click her name to see her blog) discovered Drunken Elephant skin care. After she posted about it a couple of times on her Instagram Stories, I decided to give it a try. I started with the Hit It Off Duo , and OMG!!! it is AH-MAZING. You can almost instantly feel the difference on your skin! I decided to add the C-Firma Day Serum and the Shaba Complex Eye Serum. It has been the best thing I have ever bought for my skin. My skin has never felt this healthy and hydrated! No more eczema, rashes, or breakouts. These products are easily absorbed into your skin without clogging your pores, and you can almost immediately notice a difference. I have only been using them for a little over a month but will definitely keep using them. I am so happy that I can finally feel 100% free from eczema!

They are a little pricey, but SO worth every penny!

Let me know in the comments if you have heard or tried any Drunken Elephant products!
